Welcome to Heatwave Hot Yoga,

 Heatwave Hot Yoga was opened in October 2012 by Amy Arnell, a Kingscliff local and passionate yogi. In this time, hundreds people have experienced the benefits of hot yoga at Heatwave, the majority being complete beginners to yoga. For some of these people it has been a life changing experience, for Kingscliff locals it has been a gift. Kingscliff is now a more peaceful place.

Yoga is a way to enhance your quality of life. Yoga practitioners use movement, focus and breath to enhance the qualities already within us. The result is a happy, healthy mind and body operating at its most efficient. Yogis benefit internally, externally and those who come into contact with them, family, friends and colleagues, also benefit.

 Heatwave Hot Yoga brings an ancient practice into the 21st century to assist with daily challenges such as  weight loss, stress management, tight muscles, insomnia and detoxification. Our yoga classes are challenging, safe and fun, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. Students are always encouraged to listen to their bodies and take each class at their own pace.  

We recognise that yoga means something different to everyone. Regardless of your motivation for practicing yoga, with regular practice you will receive all the benefits that hot yoga offers.

Heatwave Hot Yoga classes are held in a warm or hot room depending on the type of class. Students are nourished with fresh air from the most advanced mechanical ventilation system available, called Energy Recovery. We are the only hot yoga studio in a 40km radius to have employed the latest technology in heating called FIR heating. This is a gentle, therapeutic infra red heat commonly  used by health professionals to improve the appearance of skin and recenlty used by scientists to improve cardiovascular function in astronauts and others unable to exercise. Please browse this website for more information on the benefits of this type of heat.
